DJC: Building industry's best honored at TopProjects

The Daily Journal of Commerce held its annual TopProjects awards event Thursday evening at the Oregon Convention Center. A judging team of seven building industry professionals evaluated nearly 100 entries and conferred awards to 42 of the most outstanding projects completed in Oregon and Washington in the last year.

Project of the Year honors went to Field Office, submitted by Lease Crutcher Lewis. The 300,000-square-foot office campus in Northwest Portland was designed by Hacker Architects for developer Project.

The Troutdale Elementary Replacement School, submitted by Bremik Construction and BLRB Architects, won the Energy Trust of Oregon High Performance Building Award. A People’s Choice Award, the result of live voting by TopProjects event attendees, was given to the SolTerra HQ office building, submitted by Ink:Built Architecture.
